Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Mass Smart Solutions collects through this website, why, and what happens to it. It covers this website only — not the smart home systems we install, which are governed by your project agreement.
Who we are

What this website collects
What you type into the enquiry form:
- Name and email address — required, so we can reply
- Phone number — optional
- Nearest office and project type — optional, so the right team picks it up
- Your message
Sent with that enquiry, and only when you send one: how you reached us — the campaign tags carried by the link you clicked, if it had any, and the website you arrived from. That describes the advert or page that brought you here, not you. It is how we tell which of our campaigns are worth continuing, and how much of it we can see depends on your answer to the storage notice, below.
Nothing else. This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising scripts; fonts and every other asset are served from our own domain. The only thing that ever loads from anywhere else is the visit counter described below, and only if you accept it.
What is stored on your device
Up to three things, all kept in your browser:
- Your language choice — so the site opens in the language you picked instead of asking again.
- Your answer to the storage notice — so it stops appearing once you have replied.
- How you reached the site — only if you accept. The campaign tags on the link you clicked and the site you came from, so that an enquiry you send several pages later still says which advert brought you. Decline and nothing is kept: an enquiry then carries only what is visible on the page you send it from.
The first two are never sent to us or to anyone else. The third reaches us only if you submit the enquiry form, and only as part of that enquiry. None of them is a cookie, none identifies you, and clearing your browser data removes all of them. You can change your answer at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of any page — declining also erases anything already kept.
If you accept, we count visits with Plausible, an analytics service chosen because it does none of the usual things: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no device fingerprint, and no personal data. It records that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world from, and which site sent you — never who you are. It does not load at all for anyone who has not accepted, and it stores nothing on your device either way.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry and, if it becomes a project, to carry out the work. We do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell or rent it.
How it reaches us
The form is delivered over an encrypted connection by a third-party form service, which passes the message to our inbox. That provider processes the data on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. If you would rather not use the form, email or call any office directly — the details are in the footer.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted once they are clearly not going anywhere. Project correspondence is kept for the life of the engagement and for as long as we are required to keep business records afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email info@we-mass.com and we will respond. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Server logs
Our host keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and reliability. These are not used to identify you and are not combined with anything from the form.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above.
